What are monk’s/nun’s prayer beads called?
Have you ever seen the brothers and sisters in the catholic church? they usually have that really long string of beads clipped to their belt. it looks like a rosary but it looks way to long to be one. Anyone know what they’re called?
The longer beads are still a rosary. Anyone can buy a 15 decade rosary. All rosaries used to be longer. The church shortened it because people didn’t spend as much time praying the longer prayers.
Check out these links for more information. I’m glad to see you are interested in the rosary. Good Luck!
